Arrangement for A Capella Choir (SATB) / Arranjo para Coro A Capella a 4 vozes
This was one of my first arrangements. I decided to compose one arrangement for each choir member of my first choir. So, as this one was a gift for a tenor, the main line of the verses is sung by this voice. After that I composed 2 other versions of this arrangement, for other set of voices.

This arrangement demands a good Tenor Section. The Tenors sing, almost solo, the main line on all the verses. The director must have attention to the balance of the other sections to don’t sing as loud as the main line during the verses. The chorus main line is shared by the Alto and Tenor Sections. On the chorus, the Tenors sing in a uncomfortably high-pitched region, so it demands a very good vocal health. Attention to the dissonance on the bars 4 and 58.

Este foi um dos meus primeiros arranjos. Eu decidi compor um arranjo para cada coralista do meu primeiro coral. Como este foi um presente para um tenor a linha principal dos versos é cantada por este naipe. Posteriormente eu compus outras 2 versões desde arranjo, para outras formações vocais.

Existem três versões deste arranjo disponíveis, duas versões simplificadas e uma versão A Capella. Estes comentários se referem à versão A Capella.
Este arranjo precisa de um bom naipe de Tenor. Nos versos Tenores cantam a linha principal quase que como um solo, portanto estão bem expostos. O regente deve ter atenção com o equilíbrio dos naipes, para que estes outros não abafem a linha principal cantada pelos tenores. Nos refrões a linha principal é divida entre Contralto e Tenor. Nos refrões, quando os tenores não estão com a linha principal eles cantam notas longas em região desconfortáveis, portanto importante ter atenção para não cansá-los ou desgastarem a voz. Atenção também para as dissonâncias no compasso 4 e 58.
Este arranjo soa bem A Capella, mas pode ser também acompanhado.
